Tokyo Game Show
The Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA; Yoichi Wada, Chairman; Minato-ku, Tokyo) is delighted to announce the holding of the TOKYO GAME SHOW 2007 in cooperation with Nikkei Business Publications, Inc. (Nikkei BP; Seiichi Oteru, President and CEO; Minato-ku, Tokyo). As previously announced, this year’s event will be extended to span four days, from September 20 to 23, 2007. The Show will be held in the Makuhari Messe (Mihama-ku, Chiba City).
The TOKYO GAME SHOW was first held in 1996, and since that time has grown along with the game industry to become the world’s premier computer entertainment show. This year’s TOKYO GAME SHOW will be the 17th held to date. The ten-year anniversary show held last year in 2006 broke records in every category, including number of visitors (192,411), exhibitors (148), titles (around 650), and media registrants (4,264), reflecting the attention to the world leaders in the Industry.
The 2007 event will be the first four-day TOKYO GAME SHOW, offering a fuller exhibition program and stronger trade show attractions than ever before, with the purpose of making this one more step forward for the world’s foremost computer entertainment show.
